...a bit of a flibbertigibbet....
Hello, Mr Lax. I'm pleased that you have brought me something to dunk.Sx
I hope following you around your two blogs today isn't like stalking or some such. [worries]
Ha Ha! No... I think it's called friendship :-)Sx
I didn't bring any cake - I'll leave that to MJ. How about some maple syrup? ;)So... what's new?HugsJon
Cousin Blue... any confectionary gifts are welcome... I can surely find something to dunk in the syrup.Sx
Oh I can't help myself. I was born in syrup. Maybe that's why everything kinda stick yo me! ;) HugsJon
You are on Tumblr! Can my Reader follow??? I will try.Meanwhile, I will look around and see if I can find some young children to dunk in syrup. I will blame you if I am arrested.Sx
It is true that this is how babies are delivered in Canada.
Do they just pop up in the buckets? Do the buckets have to be attached to a tree?Sx
Attached to a maple tree preferably! Maybe you don't know how we harvest the sap of maple tree. The bucket is the old way of doing things. It takes about 40 litres of sap to produce 1 litre of syrup.
Oh and there's not much happening on my Tumblr. I basically only repost pictures of kittens and puppies along with some gorgeous landscapes and some food porn, all intertwined with wisdom quotes which must be boring as hell since everybody reblog that stuff but none of us actually put them into practice in our life. ;)HugsJon
I like kittens with wise quotes! Sx
I wish I had the ability to write a post in 2 words. :D
Mr Joey.... I spent hours and hours redecorating the blog! And you want words as well????!!!I will try to write more words for my next post.Sx
"Sylvia - take your hands out your pockets!"Jx
Jon.... I was looking for a short clip on YouTube... but was unsuccessful, hence the very scant post :-)Sx
...like this one, you mean? Jx
Yes, but I just wanted Ruth's bit and I didn't have the patience to hunt for it. I will have a look tomorrow. Sx
Avon calling? We used to have an Avon lady called Yvonne. Very confusing. :-SXxx
Mr Cheen: Did she drink Evian?Sx
You two make me laugh.
Nice background colour, like old paper, easy on the eye.
Mr Mags: I have painted my blog magnolia... well, it goes with everything... and doesn't give me snow blindness.Sx
Do they play ding dong ditch over there? I went to the door/post and there was no delivery/words. Damn kids you better knock it off.
Mr Bill: Mr Bill! Are you being cheeky???? I believe we call this game Knock Down Ginger.Sx
cheeky cheesy maybe chubby I don't know. Knock down Ginger - interesting. I did learn the "knock you up" meaning of calling on someone. Why Ginger?
I never removed this URL from my feeder. Never put it in the "dead" folder. I knew it'd spring to life one day.
Monsieur Pain: Thank you! Now that I have Mogwash out of my system I am feeling more settled... AND, the good news is that Mogwash got me back into the habit of blogging again.Anyone who is unaware of my recent endeavours might be confused by this comment... but we know, don't we, M.Pain!;-)Sx
Money-making scheme: Encourage the readership here and at Wonky Words with a 50p challenge!
Oh my word... but how would they know? How would they know if a customer spent an extra 50p???Sx
And there's me imagining you might be the reincarnation of Peggy.Or Miss Cathcart.
Mr Auty: Most likely Miss Cathcart.Sx
Pearl: Hello, Kitten!!Sx
By the way, is the witch dead?
MJ: Oh yes, as of April 13th 2013.... but now we have to tolerate a complete twat.Sx
If it's Avon calling I'll have a couple of jars of Skin so Soft please, otherwise come in and have some Berliner Luft Cake I just made xxx
Lulu: It is okay to mention cake here, nothing bad will happen, other than I will eat it all.Is Luft cake particularly light and airy?Sx
Oh, how lovely to see all these old pals here! Just like the old days, wot!Waves to everyone...
Dinah: Yes, it's nice isn't it?! We should do this more often.Sx
Glad the witch is dead. Not that I ever noticed her, which tent was she in? Was it the one with the broomstick parked outside? And the evil cackling coming from inside? Kept me awake all night, it did. These witches never seem to sleep.Ms Scarlet, the comments on your blog have reached a new peak of surrealism. If only Mr Dali were still alive to appreciate them.
Nick: I am sure that we haven't quite reached the summit of surrealism, but we shall try!SxP.S Only nice witches here.
Well, as I can't think of anything else after discovering that Jon beat me to it:(in rubbish Gladys Pugh accent) "Sylvia! Get your great long legs off the table!"* ignores witch comments as understands they're not personal - After all, this witch would never deign to stay in a tent *
Mr Devine: No, I have never stayed in a tent either, nor swayed gently in a hammock on a lazy summer afternoon. Too many bugs for my liking.I always wanted Sylvia's legs. It was never to be.Sx
I never got rid of the link to this blog either. And I have to make that Berliner luft cake... it looks amazing! It will soon be Thanksgiving here in Canada (on the 13th) and I may want to make this for our family gathering.Other than that, whatever pops up on here is fine with me. Just happy to see you back in action, Scarlet!
Ponita: I doubt I'll ever give up on this blog completely... the posts may be sparse, but I reckon they'll always keep coming. Thank you!I will buy a nice cake for the 13th [I'm not Mary Berry] and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving!Sx
Campers? Campers? At this time of year? Hello..
It's been gorgeous, Mr Bene!! The weather is now on the turn here in Devon, but there have been a lot of campers wandering around Waitrose and depleting supplies.... no sea bass this week :-(Sx
I flew over Devonshire this morning! And waved!
Mr Lax, Funny you should say this because I felt compelled to wave at a passing plane this morning, I knew not why! Big hugs and love to Mr Mags when you see him!Sx
I watched a television programme the other day presented by the lovely Gladys, it was on the Yesterday channel from Butlins to Benidorm she was wearing full make-up. High camp indeed.
You've posted! And you have so much to say! (I've got it right, just the two words?)I wondering if this is Proust or Chance the Gardener?
I had a nasty ding-dong with someone just the other day....
Oh dear, Nick, has the Avon lady been moody again? Mine ran out of soap on a rope... more of a hoo-ha than a ding dong.
Someone invited me to a Tupperware party and I said no thanks it's shapewear for me. She was most put out.
I'm getting a bit lost, which is a speciality of mine, but I think this is your current Blog, although I'm still not certain of that
Hello, Mr Wells! I'm glad you found me... yes, this is my old blogspot blog... but I'm not a regular updater, I'm afraid.I am missing Mogwash... so, there might be further posts on Wordpress... crikey, I am all over the place!Sx
You know you can't leave this post up here as the current one for too long. The ringing will resonate within the inter tubes of the web and drive your followers mad. I suggest you move on to perhaps the ding-a-ling.
Yes... I see your point, Bill.Sx
... thinkthinkthink ... :)
I have thunk :-)Sx
Ding Dang Dung! ;)
Oh. That was my next post, Jon. Now I will have to think some more.Sx
Sorry! *sad puppy eyes*
Hello you, just checking all is well across the pond with the SB!
